Pastor Deborah Chandler is a native of Washington, D.C. and is senior pastor and founder of Word Empowerment Ministries a growing, thriving non-denominational church located in Mt. Rainier, Maryland.

She received and accepted the call of God upon her life at the age of thirteen and has served in various capacities in the church and ministry.  An anointed preacher and teacher, God has equipped her with the ability to preach and teach His word with clarity and simplicity and to touch people from all walks of life. 

Having experienced the power of Christ first hand in her life, her desire is to see people live daily in the power of Christ and to lay hold on the things for which Christ died for them to have.

Pastor Deborah is committed to meeting the needs of humanity by helping others come to know, understand, believe and live in the power of Christ.
